Behavior Therapy

Supportive Behavior Services provides specialized Behavior Support Services to individuals receiving Medicaid Waivers, including the Family Supports Waiver, Community Integration and Habilitation Waiver, and the Traumatic Brain Injury Waiver. Our Behavior Consultants work directly with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to promote positive behavioral changes, encourage independence, and enhance overall quality of life. Behavior consultants serve clients both in the home and community settings. Through a collaborative approach, we work closely with individuals, families, and support teams to assess behaviors and develop effective Behavior Support Plans. By understanding the reasons behind behaviors, we provide families and staff with proactive and reactive strategies to encourage lasting, positive behavioral change. We focus on developing essential life skills, including communication, emotional regulation, social interaction, community safety, personal hygiene, daily living routines, and executive functioning. Behavior Consultants work together with families and support teams to empower individuals to reach their goals, increase their independence, and have a better overall quality of life.
